Buena Vista Palace

We normally stay here every October for our two weeks in the sun to extend the summer before winter in the UK. We%26#39;ve always loved it and can never see why the bad reviews.

Now LXR have taken over the place I know they are renovating some rooms, but what are they doing and what rooms are they doing. I often book with Virgin Holidays but I%26#39;d like to be garaunteed to stay in a new room so will probably book with them direct. Does anyone have any details of their renovations?

I have just been in touch with BP direct. Apparantly they are now going to be doing a complete renovation of the hotel %26amp; I am advised that when I go in November it will still be ongoing in parts!!! What parts they cannot say!!

I have booked with Virgin (booked for Holiday Inn - that is still closed so Vigin moved me) - stayed at BP 5 times and feel in need of renovation. Nearer the time I will E mail again and try and get a guaranteed upgraded room.
