What is the best Disney resort? I%26#39;ve looked a little at the reviews. Are there any that are a bargain?
Best Disney resort?
Depends on what you mean by bargain. Do you want a real bargain price or are you talking about a bargain for the extra amenities?
If you looking for the lowest priced bargain resort at Disney, you can%26#39;t go wrong with Pop Century (the best of the value resorts). It is really bright and festive and totally geared towards families who are on a budget. Has three pools, playground, arcade and large food court. You still get free transport to all Disney parks, free shuttle to/from airport and extra magic hours benefits.
If you are looking for a moderately priced resort that won%26#39;t break the bank, but provides a few more amenities than the value resorts, you can%26#39;t go wrong with Port Orleans Riverside. It is a beautiful resort that has the above mentioned benefits plus a bit larger rooms, sit-down restaurant, more resort activities, pools with water slides, and a great boat launch to Downtown Disney.
Best Disney resort?
Yep, looking for a bargain, but not a ';cheap'; hotel. I was looking at the Orleans too. How about a ';bargain'; for the amenities? And what sort of amenities come with it?
We stayed at Disney%26#39;s Caribbean Beach Resort
was excellent and you get alot for the money.
The resort is in the Moderate Priced catagory however I have also stayed at a deluxe hotel and honestly I enjoyed Caribbean Beach much more! We had a waterview room with mini-refrig in room. Enjoyed relaxing on the hammock each day and getting a few tropical drinks from the pool bar. The food court had many great choices and the swimming pools especially the main themed pool with waterslide was lots of fun.
Resort is also close to Epcot and the buses they take you from park to park worked out great never much of a wait time.
In addition to the free airport shuttle, park shuttle and extra magic hours that are available at even the value resorts, Port Orleans also has in-room minifridge(now complimentary), bathrooms have double sinks, pools have water slides, catch %26amp; release fishing, has sit-down restaurant and counter service, fabulous easy boat launch to Downtown Disney which is very nice for dining and shopping and nighttime entertainment, and for additional fees they have bike (also family sized bikes) rentals and water craft rentals right there from the marina. It is a beautiful resort.
Another vote for the Port Orleans Riverside!
What is the best Disney resort? Whichever one you have your next reservation to! For me at the moment, it%26#39;s Wilderness Lodge.
However, if you%26#39;re looking at the moderates, PO French Quarter gets my vote. I know a lot of people prefer Riverside, but I love the themeing and landscaping of the French Quarter. Plus you%26#39;re first on and first off the buses, which I think is a plus. The only downside is that they closed the table service restaurant there, so now you have to go to Riverside if you don%26#39;t want the food court.
