We will be in the area for some spring training games March 1 through 4th and wondering if there are some VERY specific events we should take in while we%26#39;re there having never been to Orlando? Thanks
Not going for family vacation
VERY specific in what way?
Not going for family vacation
Well, there are 4 separate Disney theme parks, 2 Universal theme parks, SeaWorld Orlando, 3 water parks, one super high class water park, dinner shows, resorts of every kind and class, and all kinds of touristy stuff going on every day in Orlando, along with all kinds of shopping, golf courses, state parks, beaches within a short drive, restaurants of every type. Don%26#39;t know if these are ';events';, but they certainly qualify as things to do.
Maybe by your post title ';Not going for family vacation'; you mean that you have no interest in theme park related activities, though lots of people do the parks even when they%26#39;re not on a family vacation. If you%26#39;re looking for ';local'; events, things that happen specifically at that time, you can check out orlandosentinel.com, and check their events calender for what%26#39;s happening around town. If this still isn%26#39;t what you need, please explain what type of events you%26#39;d be looking to see, so we can help you better. If you don%26#39;t know much about Orlando%26#39;s touristy offerings (and other offerings) you can check out allearsnet.com, and orlandoinfo.com.
