Haven%26#39;t done the dinner show part, but Fantasmic is definitely worth seeing.

If you don%26#39;t do the dinner show, you need to be at the ampitheater at least 45 minutes to 1 hour ahead of showtime to get a good seat.

The show itself lasts I think about 45 minutes to an hour.

I%26#39;ll defer to those who%26#39;ve done the dinner show part to recommend it or not.

We did the package and ate at Hollywood Brown Derby. The cost depends on the restaurant you choose, there are different tiers for different restaurants (check this out on www.allearsnet.com or www.wdwinfo.com), I can recommend where we ate, try the cobb salad for two!! The show is fab and the dinner package is a great time saver.

If you are on a budget, and don%26#39;t mind waiting 45-60 minutes to get a seat at the Fantasmic show, then you don%26#39;t need to book the package. The restaurants they use for the package are some of the more expensive, but they are good. If you are going to have to eat anyway, and the price isn%26#39;t a problem, you will save time (or at least, not feel like you%26#39;re wasting time) by booking the package and walking right into the show.

We always book the dinner package as we eat dinner at the park anyway. There are 3 restaurant choices and we choose the least expensive Hollywood and Vine which is a buffet and pleases everyone in our family. Check out the menu and prices at www.allearsnet.com

Yes, see Fantasmic, it%26#39;s beautiful!

Two more questions on this topic please:

1. If you choose the show only (no dinner) is there a charge for the show?

2. Has anyone had any experience using their Dining Plan for the dinner package? Is it worth 2 meals to visit the Brown Derby or use just 1 meal for Hollywood %26amp; Vine or Mama Melrose?

Thank you. The people on this forum are so kind and helpful.

No charge at all for the show only with no dinner package. Just get there early to get a good seat!!
