Character dining, is it for Adults too?

So at this point in time i have my dining plan and i was quite happy just to eat wherever, whenever while in WDW, but is there a dining experience for adults that%26#39;s not-to-be-missed? or perhaps even a childrens character meal that we might enjoy just watching the kids having fun at?

Character dining, is it for Adults too?

Hello RN,

Sure character dining is fun for adults also!! Those of us with children just pretend it%26#39;s all about the children:) I love character meals! I would recommend The Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom or 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian and Cape May Cafe at The Yacht and Beach Club, Ohana at the Polynesian.

For a fun musical, comedic dinner show the Hoop-Dee-Doo-Revue would be a nice choice.

At MGM Studios the 50%26#39;s Prime Time Cafe has a 1950%26#39;s environment with black and white T.V.%26#39;s on the tables and ';Mom'; may remind you to take your elbows off the table and clear your plate. Another one of our favorites is the Sci-Fi Dine in theater, you sit in 1950%26#39;s cars while watching science fiction movies on a large screen with the stars above.

At Epcot we enjoy Le Cellier in Canada. They have great pretzel bread, and cheddar cheese soup!

At the Grand Floridian Narcoossee%26#39;s has great steaks and seafood located with a nice view of the Seven Seas Lagoon.

oh my, this sounds like such a lot of fun..thank you..again!

I love the Character breakfasts/dinners as much if not more than my kids do.

I%26#39;ve been to 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickey%26#39;s at the Contemporary, and enjoyed them both, without any kids along.

They are RN, have a great time!

Absolutely do a character meal,it lets you be a kid again. I love the Cinderella breakfast at the Magic Kingdom and Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary is fun too. As far as memorable dining for adults, the California Grill is wonderful-but often the most fun dining experience are seredipitous. You don%26#39;t have to plan everything out to have a great experience. One of the best meals my husband and I had was at Tony%26#39;s Town Square in the Magic Kingdom. The food is far from outstanding but we ducked in here during a rainstorm and really enjoyed ourselves, looking out at the flowers and lovely scenery in Town Square and when we came out,the parade was right in front of us. A not to be missed experience!

I too enjoy Cinderella%26#39;s Castle, Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey%26#39;s as much as a kid.

Other favorites:

Epcot: Le Cellier, Nine Dragons, and San Angel Inn (beautiful/romantic atmosphere in San Angel)

MK: Tony%26#39;s Townsquare (Italian)

MGM: Sci Fi and 50s Prime Time (fun atmoshere in both)

AK Lodge: Boma (African inspired, very unique buffet--one of Disney%26#39;s most popular restaurants)

Polynesian: Ohana (good food and fun atmosphere)

My husband and I visited disney world 3 years ago and loved the character breakfast.

We had the character breakfast at Disney Beach Club Resort was fun and the food was very good. The theme is Goofy%26#39;s Pool Party.
