Please HELP with dinning budget

Hi everyone, (time for some number crunch)

Please, I need help with our meals budget.

We will be going to Orlando next summer (2 adults and 2 kids 6 %26amp; 4 years old)for 2 weeks, drive to Miami and stay there 2 nights. We will have a 2-bedroom (with full kitchen) at Vistana Sheraton resort for the 2 weeks at Orlando so we can save and make most of our breakfast there and maybe some dinners.

I have booked 2 character breakfast and the Fantasmic dinner package for a total of $217 (tax included) + tips. Additionaly, we are planning to do one dinner show (Arabian Nights) = $120

How much should I spend at Wal-mart for groceries, cereal, milk, etc.? (I live in Mexico so prices could be very different)What about spending at restaurants, not to fancy but average?

Thanks in advance

Let me give you more info about our plans:

13 complete days at Orlando with the following breakdown:

WDW: 7 day ticket + the water option (we plan 1 day at each water park)

Sea World: 1 full day

Orlando: 3 days, could be shopping or sightseeing.

Please HELP with dinning budget

If you eat at a fast food place like McDonald%26#39;s or Burger King, I%26#39;d estimate about $4-$5 dollars a person.

If you eat in a budget restaurant (like the Denny%26#39;s chain of restaurants or I-Hop), I%26#39;d budget about $5-$10 per person.

If you eat at a family restaurant, nicer than a Denny%26#39;s, fun, but not fancy, something like a Joe%26#39;s Crab Shack or a Macaroni Grill or a Red Lobster, I%26#39;d budget $8-$17 a person.

Of course, kids the age of your children will have items on the Children%26#39;s menus that will cost less than the prices above.

As for grocery store items, depending upon brand name:

Bread $1 to $2.50 a loaf

Milk (gallon): $2 to $2.50

Cereal (box): $2 to $4

Eggs (12): $1 to $2

Butter or Margarine: $1 to $3

Potatoes (5 pounds): $1.50 to $3.00

Have a great vacation!

Also, lunches in the theme parks, at a minumum, cost $6-$10 a person

The Orlando Sentinel newspaper offers an online budget planner for an Orlando vacation. 鈥rlandosentinel.com/itinerary/page1.asp

Walmart? Please shop elsewhere.

well first of all, why are you spending that much on arabian nights. search the web for discount tickets. such as www.ticketmania.com or www.travel-affiliates.com. instead of $120 you`ll pay about $90. definetly look into that.

also try to get coupons to help save money. especially being there 2 weeks....the savings will help. lots of websites offer free coupon books. go to www.orlandoinfo.com for a free magic card and guide book. I LOVE MINE!!!! the guide book tells you about local places to eat and about how much they cost.
