Sanibel Island searching for family based hotel

Well thanks so much for the two replys on Key West. I am disappointed to here about the beaches. That is always a main attraction for us! I%26#39;ve been doing research on Sanibel, any suggestions?

Hotel again, must be clean, family friendly and fantastic beach areas. I%26#39;d still like the cost to be under 300.00 a night. Any website suggestions or personal advice?

First off, I post a similar question in the Sanibel Island section of the TA.

Second, I%26#39;d do a google search of Sanibel Island.

Third, I%26#39;d look for the info from the Chamber of Commerce on Sanibel.

Fourth, I%26#39;d look at vrbo.com, rental.com, Travelocity.com or Priceline.com to get an idea of hotels or condo%26#39;s are available, and the prices.

But that%26#39;s just me . . .

Sanibel is wonderful! (Assuming there%26#39;s no red tide, of course.)

I%26#39;m a big fan of Tween Waters on Captiva, which seeems quite kid-friendly, but you%26#39;ll get lots more family-friendly location suggestions over on the Sanibel forum. Tourmaline will set you up.
