We are getting quotes from various resorts Cheeca Lodge %26amp; Spa, The Islander, Casa Morada...any other suggestions out there from people who got married or attended a wedding on Islamorada?

Im currently planning a wedding at Cheeca Lodge. I have been getting really bad customer service by their wedding planner. It%26#39;s making us re-think our decision. Im just curious if you have been happy with getting info etc from Cheeca?

I am also trying to plan a wedding at cheeca resort, has any one else used this resort for there wedding? Is it worth a $5000 beach location/reception location fee for 15 people? Is there any place else that is 200 rooms or under that is upscale? I really need help. Also is there a big difference in weather in May- April. Any information would be of great help.
Less chance of rain in April, but it also will be more crowded (first half of month) with higher rates (until the end of the month).
Cheeca Lodge is ridiculously expensive and pretentious. I would not stand for bad customer service from them.
Does anyone have any wedding comments on the Islander Resort? I am leaning towards that for my wedding, as I want it to be pretty low key, and would love your comments.
