Which Holiday Inn in Orlando ?

We have to stay in a Holiday Inn in Orlando during our stay. I%26#39;ve looked at TA%26#39;s reviews but it does not talk about all the different Holiday Inn resorts in the Orlando area. Some of the reviews on the Buena Vista were not very good. Can anyone make any recommandations ? We want a clean, good quality hotel. It does not have to be near the WDW parks. How about the Holiday Inn Express in Clermont. It is worth it ??

Which Holiday Inn in Orlando ?

I spent 1 night in Holiday Inn Main Gate West and was not impressed. Great location, but the design layout is something from the 70%26#39;s. Unlike modern hotels that have the passageway on the inside so you have a window in your room looking out. This one is opposite. The window is on the inside looking over a drab inner courtyard. That means your front door as mounted into a glass wall.

You have to keep the curtains closed all the time for any privacy as other guest are walking up and down the passageway. This can also get noisy late at nigh as the glass wall offers no sound protection.

I%26#39;ve been to other holiday Inn%26#39;s and was very dissapointed with this one.

Which Holiday Inn in Orlando ?

We don%26#39;t care for most Holiday Inn%26#39;s as they allow pets in most of their hotels! Being a family with allergies this is a definate no no for us.

There is a holiday inn on International drive in Orlando. Its quite convient. There are restaurants right across the street. few minutes walk from Wet N Wild. Close to Universal Studios. Enjoy your trip

Avoid the one on I.Drive. As previously mentioned they allow dogs, and when we stayed - their mess was evident in the corridors. Clean, it was not!

We%26#39;ve stayed four times at the holiday inn on I drive and never seen a dog. when we went it was very clean. Guess it just depends on other guests. Only thing wrong was a wet carpet by the bathroom and the safe didn%26#39;t work but it was mended straight away. we are going again in April. If you do stay don%26#39;t have a end room by the washing machines.
