Anyone stay at The Kent Hotel in South Beach Miami? My husband and I are going in April, and I%26#39;m anxious to hear any negative or positive feedback?

Yesterday I e-mailed the Kent with an enquiry about whether or not there are hairdryers in the rooms. They replied within 10 minutes which I think is always a good sign so if you had any specific questions I would not hesitate to e-mail them:

I have stayed there and it%26#39;s really a very middle of the road hotel ... fun clean rooms, a free light continental breakfast and friendly staff - it also has a very convenient location that makes walking to and from the hotel a breeze. You will have a great time!

Hey like everyone else I have only heard good things - I am staying there in three weeks!!

I stayed there New Years 2005. The hotel was nice, clean, friendly staff, decent continental breakfast, a computer in the lobby for guest use and cute courtyard to sit and relax in after a day at the beach and before getting ready to go out. We liked to sit there and have a snack and a drink or two. They also provide a place to hold your luggage on check out day and a private shower to clean up if you hit the beach after check out.

Does the hotel provide any club passes?

which clubs are close by and recommended? what are some good places to eat around there?

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kent. It was very clean, lovely decor, free internet access in the lobby and a small breakfast, Danish %26amp; orange juice was available every morning.

My only warning is if you are needing to change currency do it elsewhere, e.g. a bank. The hotel will do it but they only allowed us to change $50 each at a time and were surprised when we came back the next day wanting to change more!

The 11th Street Diner is nearby on the corner of 11th %26amp; Washington and David%26#39;s Cuban cafe which is good for snacks is just across the road. There is a nice juice bar opposite the hotel too. Other than that we maily went to the restaurants and bars on Ocean Drive.

My hubby and I are staying there also in April and look forward to it. I%26#39;ve read decent reviews about it so my fingers are crossed!! Of course we won%26#39;t be spending a lot of time in our room!
