Marriott on Sand Key

I a planning a trip to Orlando followed by a few days at the beach.I am a Marriott member and am considering Sand Key to spend a few of my reward points.Firstly,I am being asked for one and a half times the normal rate and was wondering if anyone knew if their was a way around this.Lastly,I have two boys(4 and 1)and was wondering if anyone was aware of the kids club rules regarding entertaining 4 y o as it says aged 5 on the website.Thanks

Could it be that you are coming during a holiday period? I know some hotel point programs charge a premium of extra points if you%26#39;re traveling around Easter, Christmas, etc. I know their rates sure increase during those times! It%26#39;s a great property though and I usually stay there a couple times a year. I can%26#39;t help you with the kids club info though. You might want to contact them directly and ask.

travelled here over new year with our 2 year old,fantastic for kids.under fives can go in the kids club as long as a parent stays with them. Also a great paddling pool next to a mini beach with climbing frame, my son spent hours digging in sand with out going near the real beach across the road. We also paid over the odds direct with hotel,is much cheaper to use an agent.
