URGENT! Have you stayed at Villager premier?

We have friends travelling to Orlando in August for the first time, who are stopping at the Villager Premier on Westwood Blvd. Have been on 2 other sites and read customer reviews on this hotel which have been terrible. Most recent reviews from Jan 05 have said how dirty it was(coachroches %26amp; fleas)! Would like to hear any other comments (good or bad) about this hotel, to pass on to them. Would hate for them to have such a bad experience on their first family trip to Orlando, as I%26#39;m always raving about what a great place it is! Please Help!

URGENT! Have you stayed at Villager premier?

Just Back from Orlando and stayed in the Villager Premier Hotel. On arrive we were given a room on the ground floor, but had to change it as we found it to smell(damp). The Staff were very helpful and offered us a few others rooms to have a look at (if you get the choice of a room go for an even numbered room as they look out on the pool area, all the old numbered rooms face either the car park or busy beeline freeway. The rooms are kept clean daily, but are basic with a fridge %26amp; microwave. As others have stated the hotel is at the south end of i-drive within walking distance of Sea World %26amp; has a few places to eat near by (the Village Restaurant near door has good food at a low cost) but you will have to get the i-drive Trolley from the stop right in front of the hotel to all the Restaurants on the i-drive as they are a good walk away. The Free Transport to the Parks are ok. (Run to Epcot at 9.05 %26amp; 10.25, return pick up at Epcot 20.20 %26amp; 21.45, Run to Universal at 10.25 %26amp; return pick up at Universal at 20.40, out side these times you will have to make your own arrangements. All in all the Hotel is basic/clean %26amp; good value for a 2 Star hotel. We would stay there again. Hope this run down helps? Have a great holiday.

I have not stayed here however we did stay right in the area at the Marriott Residence Inn/SeaWorld- for $334 we had a 3 night package with length of stay tickets to Sea World, everything was WONDERFUL! I highly recommend it. Check it out...

i believe the villager premier has now changed its name to studio inn. We are booked to stay here in june 2006 please give me your honest opinion on this accomodation.

Have a read of my posting above dated 16 June, as I stayed there in May/June of this year. Hope it is of some help!

i have been to the village premier do not go there!!! stay in the sheraton across the road its worth the extra money. the village inn is appalling i talked to a fellow guest who totally agreed, there were cockroaches in her room her toilet didnt work and it took them days to fix it. when you go with virgin you expect top quality, the village premier did not provide this. i advise if you can get an upgrade to another hotel
