Be through security and in front of Main Street RR station by 8:30 and you won%26#39;t miss a thing.

As I said earlier, it%26#39;s kinda hokey, but kids seem to love it.

Forgot to mention we are going in October, does the park opening ceremony operate all year round? How long does it take to get from the car park and thru security at that time of the morning?

The opening shows happen every morning. Since the resort buses begin an hour before park opening, it get pretty crowded fairly early. Security has to go through every compartment of every bag. To speed up your turn try to have every zipper open when they get to you. They are pretty quick.

Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom%26#39;s is actually a song and dance show performed by the ';residents'; of Main Stree USA and then the characters all ride in on the train. Animal Kingdom%26#39;s is not as much as a real show, but with character%26#39;s out front in the entrance area for some upclose personal time without having to stand in line at actual character greeting areas.
