ATM's in Daytona Beach

I%26#39;m coming to Daytona for bike week for the first time from England and am unsure what sort of cash to bring!! Can anyone suggest what I would be best doing? I have a Nationwide Visa Debit card so would I be best to just bring a bit of cash and draw the rest out over there as and when I need it? What are the ATM%26#39;s like over there? Are they stocked up regulary throughout bike week, are they easily found etc? Also would a visa debit card be accepted at most shops/restaurants etc?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Not sure about Daytona itself maybe someone else can help.

We have just come back and found it most convenient to take cash from the ATM, there was a small charge but the exchange rate was good.

Not sure if they take debit cards we always use credit cards.

ATM%26#39;s can be found in food stores restaurants, gas stations, as well as banks. I have not had a problem with not being stocked, if one is out of money, there is always another nearby. There will be a charge to use them, but it is not that bad if you need the cash. I see no problem in using a Visa debit card. We use one all the time. You could do a search Daytona ATM%26#39;s and that will give you some idea where ones are located. I would bring some cash just to have on hand. Hope that helps some.

Visa is accepted everywhere.

American Express Traveler%26#39;s Cheques are also a good idea, because they can be replaced if lost or stolen.

Here is a HOT TIP***

There are limits to the amounts of cash that you can get out of ATMs in Daytona(200/day).....I needed to get cash quickly....wiring cash would take 48 hours...so my bank sent me to one of the strip clubs....I was able to take an unlimited amount of cash out of my bank account.

So...if you run into trouble, or need cash quickly, ask your bank for locations where the limits are higher or there are no limits..

I suggest traveller%26#39;s checques, if you lose them you can replace them without any charge. So I STRONGLY reccomend that other than credit card, credit car could be lost or stolen. But if you insist on bringing a credit card, you can find an ATM at Publix or any grocery store. Gas Stations and banks.

I would take just a little cash maybe in the form of traverlers checks just every you feel best at doing, then just bring the atm visa card there are banks all over daytona that you can get to an atm and just about every place takes visa debit cards only a very few do not. there are so many atms in daytona you should not have any problems at all.
