The Rum Barrel, located next to Pirate Soul on Eaton Street. There will be two bars on two floors in the large restaurant. It will be good, casual, well-made food. They insist that the Rum Barrel will not be a hokey pirate bar. Instead it%26#39;s described as evoking the aura of a 300-year-old tavern.

Weather here is horrible at best. Winter storm warnings. Nothing like the east coast got last week, but there is 10 below weather following this storm.
I want warm weather, cold beer.
When does it open?
It%26#39;s a pretty cool bar. Not hookie at all. They have a bar on the main floor and a bar on the roof. Super groovy. The downstairs has large windows and the front opens up to the street. Great place to drink!
Seminolegirl, it%26#39;s open now. The grand opening was this past weekend.
They have been having live entertainment on the roof bar every evening so far. It has definately made that corner start hoppin.
