I%26#39;ve read that upon checking in it is worth it to ask for a room upgrade, mainly by requesting a different view. What is the ';view'; hierarchy?

There%26#39;s standard view, which is typically the rooms over the front desk and over Whispering Canyon Cafe, because you look out at the parking lot and loading docks. Next comes the woods view, which is looking out at landscape and woods. Next is the courtyard view, which either overlooks the main courtyard and pool, or may overlook the pool area by the Wilderness Lodge Villas. I have booked standard many times and received upgrades to other views, if it isn%26#39;t busy. If you get a woods view on the Artist Pointe side on the upper floors, sometimes you can see some of the fireworks at the MK through the trees (especially after the 2004 hurricanes took some of the trees out). If you are going for a courtyard view, it%26#39;s nice to be on a higher floor to keep out some of the excess noise around the pool.
