thank you all for your posts.
I wanted toknow if you have had any run ins where a hotel will not allow 4 (2 adults and 2 children ) people in a king room. I booked a roomwith 2 queens and want tostay at Club level but they won%26#39;t le us because only a king is available??/
club level
For just a hotel rooms (not suite, condos or villas they have different rules)you can have 1 extra person in the room (using a rollaway bed) than the number of sleeping spaces in that room, ie.
1 king bed= 2+1 people
1 king + pullout couch = 4+1 people
2 queen = 4+1 people
and so on.
This is the maximun number allowed by law but if the hotel doesn%26#39;t want to allow that extra person to stay in their room they don%26#39;t have to.
club level
Maybe all the double queens at Club Level were sold out. It is true that the occupancy level for a king bed room is a maximum of 3. This is for safety reasons. They would have to put 2 rollaways in the room so 4 people could sleep, but the room size isn%26#39;t large enough to do it.
Regarding your other post about cleanliness at the hotel, we stayed there 3 years ago and had a very good experience. I find it hard to believe that the service at one Loew%26#39;s hotel is better than another. Do they pay the staff better at the Hard Rock, who knows? Please give us your report when you get back.
Have a great time!
