How strict are they in enforcing the ';business casual dress code'; in this particular restaurant? If my 10 yr old son has on jeans and sneakers will they reject him? We have ADRs for Valentine%26#39;s Day.

From everything I%26#39;ve heard, its a nice place, high up on the ladder of WDW restaurants. I don%26#39;t know if your son would get kicked out for wearing sneakers and jeans, but I wouldn%26#39;t take the risk, particularly on a special day like Valentines Day.

Hello champagnetaste,
They won%26#39;t kick him out however, you might want to have a collared shirt like a polo for him to wear. You know to draw the eye upward:)
We have been there many times and they do not strictly enforce the dress code, especially for children but do frown upon tank tops and the torn up jeans or pants hanging off the teens rear ends. One of our visits was a last minute thing and we went directly to dinner after the park and one of my children had a tank top on and they just offered him a polo shirt to wear over it. With many restaurants in tourist areas dress shorts and a nice polo are the norm. However you will also have guest there with very nice or formal evening wear.
I believe the only restaurant with a strict dress code is Victoria and Alberts. If your son has on a nice shirt (maybe a polo or similar style, jeans that are in good shape, and sneakers in good shape, he will be fine. If he goes in a faded t-shirt, torn jeans, and sneakers that look like they need a run through the washer, that%26#39;s a totally different story. I think the whole motivation behind the business casual dress code is that some very nice restaurants, such as the Yachtsman Steakhouse, are right next to the pool or recreaton areas, where people might get the idea that anything goes.
Thanks so much for all the replies. I was planning on him wearing a collared shirt anyway.
We were there 2 nights ago and saw people (children AND adults) in anything from suits to sweats!
