Questions on Disney parks and others

This is our first trip to Florida, so your feedback is much appreciated! We have booked our time share at Orlando and Weston in Dec. Looking for another week%26#39;s rental at St Augustine to start off our vacation. There are six of us: 2 adults + 2 seniors + 2 young kids (2 + 6 yrs).

In Orlando, we%26#39;re planning to spend 2-3 days at the Disney parks (Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom). We have visited Disneyland and the other parks in California (Seaworld, San Diego zoo, wild animal park). Don%26#39;t want to spend too many days in parks as we want to explore other places (attractions, cruises, nature, history %26amp; culture).

Which parks should we choose? Is Magic Kingdom similar to Disneyland (then we may want to skip that)?

Is it easy to drive to the places we%26#39;re staying in Florida? Are these areas safe?

Questions on Disney parks and others

Driving is the best way to get around Florida! You will find that having a car is very convenient.

Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom are similar, but not identical. If you enjoyed Disneyland, then you really should see the Magic Kingdom. I also recommend Epcot, as it is typically the favorite park among adult travelers and would still be appropriate for your small children. Both of these parks will take a full day to see in their entirety. If you decide to do a third day, then Animal Kingdom would be good.

For culture, you will probably want to head to the north side of Orlando, to downtown, to Winter Park, etc. That is the part of town with theaters and museums.
