Key west for two days

This is our plan for our honeymoon in August. We want to go to St.John for our honeymoon..but stop in the Keys before we go..maybe first fly into Key West..stay for a few days..then fly out to St.Thomas after that. Is there an airport in Key west..and if so would we have to rent a car to get to and from our hotel. My finance would like to flyfish in the flats, which I believe is in Key West..where he could go out in the water and flyfish. If we could stay at a place on the beach that would allow this that would be great. I fear that by doing this it would be pricey..any advice...

Key west for two days

You can fly into Key West and stay at a place that is close enough to walk to unless you have a lot of luggage which it soulds like you will. But there are still a few places that have free bus service from the airport to their hotel; the Casa Marina, for example.

You wouhd have to check this, but the Casa Marina has two piers and your husband might be able to fish from one of them. It is also a very short walk to Higgs beach, and there is a pier out there, too. Check into ';Key West Flats Fishing, though. They might pick up up and drop you aff from their trip. The Casa also has its own small beach and is pretty nice.

I%26#39;m not sure, though, if you can fly directly from Key West to St Thomas.
