Sorry, computer operator problem! I think with the ages of your children, you will like the Pink Shell better. It is close enough to Time Square for you kids to walk to all the shopping, restraunts, and activities. It is very safe! We stayed at Pointe Estero, which is right next to Gullwing, and our children were bored. There was too much traffic to even ride the trolley to the Square at most times of the day. We now stay at the BW Beach Resort, which is close to Pink Shell, on the north end of the island and love it. It is also fun to walk to the north point of the island where there is a park, walkways, and to just explore. Also to watch all the boats come and go around the point.
Hmaint,
Does the Pink Shell have many teens.....we are staying there and have 2 older teens and I don%26#39;t want them to be bored.....any public access to this area?? I am hoping that all guests are not ';mature';???? Thanks for any info
coldinNewYork - The Pinkshell is a family resort. It is not a big teen hangout, but there will be lots of kids of all ages with their families. It would be a good place to stay with teens, because they can safely walk down the beach to all the action. Or they can take the trolley and be at Time Square in 5 minutes. There is also jet ski rental, parasailing and other water activities right by the hotel. You wouldn%26#39;t want to stay where all the teens do without their families, the Lani Kai. It is pretty loud there. It is within walking distance from the Pink Shell, probably 25 minutes. They won%26#39;t be bored with all the shopping, restraunts, just walking the beach and just watching all the water activities and people watching at the square.
