Any suggestions on how to best schedule our time there?
3 night/4 day trip (1st time)
All depends on what you plan on doing. Do you want to stick strictly to theme parks or do other things as well? What time of year are you going to be there (this can also make a difference)?
Provide more info and we%26#39;ll try to help.
3 night/4 day trip (1st time)
Since your going for 3 nights you%26#39;ll only have 2 full days in Orlando. If your planning on going to the Disney parks and want to get all 4 in you%26#39;ll have to park hop. You may want to consider leaving out one of the parks such as Animal Kingdom as Epcot is a large park and usually requires a full day. You could then split Magic Kingdom and MGM for another day. The only thing is Magic Kingdom has a great firework display, and MGM a beautiful laser, musical show called Fantasmic and you would have to miss one of those. Write back and let me know if your traveling with children, their ages etc. so to better help you plan.
We are driving, arriving around 6 pm evening on the 14th. Plan to go some where that night after we arrived. We will be there a full day on the 15th and 16th and broguht a 4 day ticket so we can check out the hotel and then go to a park a couple of hours before we leave. We have decided to stay off disney property at the Residence Inn Marriot Buena Vista. We do have a park hopper.
As I said earlier Epcot is the largest park and you will need the most time there. Animal Kingdom is the smallest and can be completed in approximately 5 hours so you might want to go there on your last day. That leaves MGM and Magic Kingdom. MGM is the closest to Epcot and you can go out the side entrance to the boats at the Yacht and Beach Club which will take you to MGM in about 10 minutes if you want to try to get some of MGM in also on the same day or you can do MGM and Magic Kingdom in one day. Don%26#39;t miss the Wishes firework display at the Magic Kingdom!
