Bicentennial Park Hotel Question

A year or so ago, we stayed in a hotel right across the street from Bicentennial Park. It was once a Howard Johnsons and recently called The Port of Miami Hotel. We understand it is not the most desirable hotel in Miami, but we found it convenient to just walk to concerts in the park. I am not having any luck finding this hotel on Hotels.com or Travelocity. Does anyone know if this place is still in business or not? Thanks

Bicentennial Park Hotel Question

This hotel has been razed or knocked down in order to make way for a high rise condo. That whole area- is for about 4 blocks on both sides of the nearby expressway- under construction. Also, hotels of that calibre are becoming not only more rare but, also finding themselves further west! Since real estate prices have gone up and land is more scarce. There is a Marriot Hotel that is just off of Biscayne two blocks north of Bicenntenial park. It will cost more but, you%26#39;ll get more and it%26#39;s not going to be astronomical.
