meal plan yes or no??

Hi me again is it worth doing the meal plan we thought it sounded great value has anyone got any views on this or done the meal plan while been there??

The meal plans costs approximately $37.00 per day for adults and includes one snack, one counter and one table service restaurant within Disney and it is well worth it as long as you utilize all 3 meals, as you will save approximately 20 - 30 percen than if you would to purchase the food seperately. The only time I would even have a second thought about it is if you are staying at a Disney Vacation Club resort and plan on eating in the room a lot. When I was at the Beach Club Villas in January, I ate in the room at least 50 percent of the time, so it wouldn%26#39;t have saved me as much money as the eating in did. However, when you are in a regular resort (whether budget, moderate, or deluxe) you won%26#39;t have the facilities to cook meals, just a refrigerator. So the dining plan makes more sense. Plus, it helps with the budgeting, because it%26#39;s a fixed cost, and it%26#39;s just one less thing to have to worry about.

We just got back last night, we had doubts about getting the meal plan, but it was well worth it. We paid $350 for myself, husband, and 4 year old, four night trip, and we added it up, roughly, as we went, it came up to over $500. So we saved over $150. We ate well, no doubt about it (I%26#39;m drinking Slimfast as I%26#39;m writing this!) Excellent food, and it was so nice to be able to just hand them your card and sign your name. I highly recomend the dining plan, we%26#39;ll definitely use it again next time.
