Six of us are booked for the Doubletree in February through Expedia. We have read the reviews of bed bugs. Anybody have additional info on this? Or suggestions?
Bed Bugs At Doubletree
We have reservations in March and I think I%26#39;ll call them a few weeks ahead and see how they respond. There are some more recent reviews since the ones about bedbugs and they%26#39;re all good reviews with no mention of them. Unfortunately if you do some search%26#39;s on Google it appears bedbugs are making a comeback in the U.S. Supposedly if they ride home in your luggage it is a nightmare getting them out of your house.
Thanks for your post - I too wonder if anyone has heard anything specific about the DoubleTree.
Bed Bugs At Doubletree
We just returned last night from a 4 night stay at the Doubletree. Prior to our arrival we did call about the bed bug issue. They advised that they had in fact had a problem in one room (which they took care of) and that they had gotten a lot of bad press over this. Upon check in we did check out the mattress for the signs of bed bugs. Everything looked fine and in fact we never had a problem during our stay. The Doubletree is a very nice resort and we would not hesitate in staying again.
